Two men arrested after officer seriously injured
Two men have been arrested and charged after a Police Scotland officer was seriously injured in an incident involving a car while on duty.

Officers had approached the vehicle on Low Waters Road in Hamilton at around 1pm on Friday (August 30) in the course of a general patrol.
The vehicle then made off and was involved in a collision with one of the officers, a 33-year-old man.
The two men, aged 30 and 56, were due to appear before Hamilton Sheriff Court on Wednesday (September 4).
Police Scotland said the injured officer remains in hospital for treatment.
