Lancashire DC charged with misconduct

An officer from Lancashire Constabulary has been charged with three counts of misconduct in public office following an Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) investigation.

Detective Constable Jatinder Bunger, 38, is alleged to have sought relationships with two vulnerable women he met during the course of his duties and took, or otherwise obtained, photographs of four other women without their permission.

The officer is due to appear at Manchester Magistrates’ Court tomorrow (October 20).
