Former PCSO charged with rape

A former police community support officer (PCSO) with Sussex Police has been charged with the rape of a woman last year.

Jamal Robinson, 26, has been charged with two counts of rape and two counts of sexual assault of the same woman at an address in Worthing on December 14, 2019.

At the time of the offence he was a Brighton-based PCSO but resigned from the force in April.

Robinson, of Ventnor Villas, Hove, has been bailed to appear at Worthing Magistrates’ Court on November 3.
