Anti-hate crime website supported by Herts Police

The independent website Silence is Not Golden (www.silenceisnotgolden.org), which aims to promote the reporting of hate crime, has been praised by Hertfordshire Police.

The site outlines the different types of hate crime and how the public can report this to the police.
Community Engagement Officer for the constabulary Alison Begley said: “The Silence is Not Golden website provides helpful advice and guidance for victims of homophobic crimes and, like our Hate Crime Officers, it encourages victims to come forward so that we can take the appropriate action.”
