West Mercia PC charged with sexual offences
A serving West Mercia Police officer has today (April 23) been charged with rape and five counts of sexual assault.

Police Constable Michael Darbyshire, 52, is due to appear at Hereford Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, June 23. He will remain on police bail until that time.
The PC, who is based at Worcester station, has been suspended from his role with West Mercia Police.
