TVP officer facing misconduct charges

An officer from Thames Valley Police (TVP) will appear in court next week charged with three counts of misconduct in public office and two counts of computer misuse.

The charges follow an investigation by the Independent Office for Police Conduct into Police Constable Oliver Perry-Smith, 38, over alleged inappropriate relationships he formed with multiple women during the course of his duties.

He will appear at Reading Magistrates’ Court on January 11.
