Tributes after death of serving BTP officer
Tributes have been paid following the death of a serving officer at British Transport Police.

Chief Superintendent Glen Alderson said: “It’s with great sadness we can confirm a serving police officer, PC Jane Bridgewater, very sadly passed away following medical complications on November 4.
“Jane was based in Manchester and had over 20 years of distinguished service within British Transport Police, which included being one of the first on scene at the Arena bombing in May 2017. Our deepest condolences are with her wife Bernie, her family, and all those who knew and loved her.”
