Shocking images help net child sex offender

A German child sex offender has surrendered to police after they released a shocking child sexual assault video to ZDF national television programme Case Files xy…unsolved to help catch him.
Entitled Can you help catch this monster?, the video released by the BKA (Bundeskriminalamt, the German Federal Criminal Police Office) showed a series of recordings of the suspect – known as Christoph G – with some scenes containing child victims whose images were hidden for the broadcast.
Police investigators had used 42 videos to help identify the suspect. The BKA believes the videos were made in 2006 and circulated over the Internet.
