The Patrol Support System (PSS) – developed by Italian-based company ELSAG and on display at the HeliMedia stand – enables officers to quickly and accurately verify a person’s identity via fingerprint acquisition and comparison with the central database.

The camera takes pictures and video which can be viewed on the built-in display; the GPS device gives geographical position, while the GSM/GPRS module allows voice calls via an earpiece and data forwarding.

HeliMedia will also be announcing the latest progress in linking ground-based ANPR back-office station and database technology with L3-WESCAM’s advanced stabilised multi-sensor airborne camera systems.
