PITO releases ICT guide

PITO has published a guide for the police service on the potential for ICT performance improvement and cost reduction for collaborative working.

The publication aims to provide assistance to managers and project staff involved in collaborative initiatives, to support the development of improved protective services.

It has been written by Mentis Management Consultants with input from Hewlett Packard and is based on work funded by PITO and conducted with Suffolk Constabulary and the other forces in ACPO Eastern Region (Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Hertfordshire and Norfolk) between November 2005 and April 2006.
