NCC Group is running an ‘ethical hacking’ course at its head office in central Manchester, targeted at police professionals who want to learn more about how hackers break into computer systems.

NCC Group is a provider of IT assurance, security and consultancy services. The course is aimed at educating police forces about the dangers of hacking and how there is no better way to secure their systems than learning to hack it themselves.

The two-day course will demonstrate the step-by-step techniques used by attackers and will explain the different approaches of hackers toward security issues. A background in Micro-soft Windows, Linux and basic programming would be advantageous. More information about the course that will run on March 21 and 22 can be obtained from: www.nccgroup.com.
