QRO Solutions has released details of its Lug-IT portable ANPR number plate reading system that can track vehicles on four separate lanes.

The new system is a self-contained 13Kg unit which can be powered from any vehicle and includes a built in GPS receiver and USB or LAN connections to capture the collected data.

Vic Way, Managing Director of QRO Solutions, said: “Our new Lug-IT system brings together high performance, true portability, user friendly interface and industry standard elements that enable police forces to deploy ANPR in parallel with other systems, including those for mobile speed cameras, that they currently use.

“Police users continue to tell us how critical integrated design, with ease of use, is. Our user interface has been developed in conjunction with our police customers and we are proud that it is now considered an industry benchmark.”
