Courses are now available for all those involved in the investigation, presentation or adjudication of police misconduct cases.
BPP Professional Development is set to run three one-day Police Misconduct courses of intensive training in London on February 6, 8 and 9.
Adam Pacifico, director of the law enforcement training division, said: From managing preliminary arguments to gathering evidence and presenting the case, it is becoming increasingly important for those in the police service to be familiar and confident with all elements of misconduct cases.
We believe that this training is essential to support police staff charged with managing complaints and conduct matters.
These courses are designed to ensure they can carry out their duties confidently and effectively whilst understanding the legal and professional risks attached.

Also on offer is Witness Familiarisation Training for the Metropolitan Police Crime Academy, in association with the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS).
The partnership is the first of its kind and involves the training of over 1,000 detectives each year. The one-day courses have been designed and delivered by an experienced team of advocates from both BPP and the CPS, a number of which are former police officers with experience of giving evidence in the witness box.
The courses focus on the gathering, management and presentation of evidence for court.
