By the end of the summer the Home Office website will have a completely new look that is being described as more ‘highstreet’.

Over the last two years the website has been monitored but has been found to not be serving thr public to the level it should. The new site will serve the needs of a wide range off groups including: the general public, international Home Office policy officials, front line policy workers, for example, youth offending teams who work with young people to prevent crime and researchers and journalists.

To better serve this diverse group of users the website will be split into several sections. Two existing police websites, Police Reform and Police ABC, are being amalgamated with the stakeholder-focussed content on the current Home Office website, to create the new dedicated police stakeholder website.
