HOC 42/2006 The Fraud Act 2006: Repeal of the Deception Offences in the Theft Acts 1968 – 1996

Home Office Circular 42/2006 contains details of the Fraud Act 2006, which came into force on January 15 2007.

The Circular is intended to provide guidance; and requests that recipients of the Circular note the changes in the law of fraud and implement and communicate promptly the changes in the law to relevant staff.

The Circular also refers to the City of London Police training package on the Act.
