Lothian and Borders police have published an on-line gallery of suspects they believe were involved in rioting and disturbances during the G8 summit in July this year.

The gallery of 31 suspects have been pulled off CCTV footage and video shot in Edinburgh during the worst of the disorder on July 4.

Many suspects are still wanted in connection with public disorder offences and assualting police officers.

Officers have spent weeks sorting through footage to identify the most wanted and as a result 28 people have already been identified and reported to the procurator fiscal.

Lothian and Borders investigators believe the majority of the suspects live in the UK – despite the international scope of protests against capatalism.
