Merseyside Police is looking to replace its human resources (HR) and finance systems with a cloud-based enterprise resource planning (ERP) platform.

It says this will be its “primary system for HR, learning and development, payroll, finance and procurement, with a separate duty management system, which can be integrated with the ERP”.

The force stresses that any new systems will need to “meet the security requirements for UK police forces”.

Merseyside Police “is seeking to understand the capabilities” of different ERP and duty management systems to assist in identifying the most appropriate solution to meet its needs.

It adds: “The force is also looking to understand the role of an integration partner and how they can support in the implementation of an ERP and duty management system.”

Merseyside Police is holding pre-market engagement events for potential suppliers and integration partners.
