Exceptional leaders wanted to join Police Scotland’s leadership team
The Scottish Police Authority (SPA) is advertising for two “exceptional police leaders” to join Police Scotland’s executive team and support the chief constable to shape the next important phase of policing in Scotland.
Fiona McQueen, vice-chair of the SPA, will lead a panel to appoint the assistant chief constables.
She said: “These are significant leadership roles in the second largest police force in the UK.
“We are seeking senior officers with ambition, energy, and commitment to join Police Scotland and work to deliver the new vision.
“The successful candidates will be resilient leaders who can drive and deliver excellence in policing and work collaboratively and creatively with others to deliver better public services at the same time as creating an environment for the workforce to flourish.”
The deadline for applications is noon on Friday February 7.
The SPA expects to announce successful candidates in March.
