Emergency services PSN infrastructure award

The Home Office is understood to have awarded a £15 million contract to Vodafone to supply Public Services Network (PSN) infrastructure for the new Emergency Services Network (ESN).

The Home Office is understood to have awarded a £15 million contract to Vodafone to supply Public Services Network (PSN) infrastructure for the new Emergency Services Network (ESN).

The contract is related to the provision of a Direct Network Service Provider, one of a series of related projects under the Emergency Services Mobile Communications Programme, to provide PSN infrastructure to link the three emergency services control rooms to the central ESN system.

According to the contract award notice published this month, it will run until November 1, 2021.
