West Midlands Police (WMP) has deployed a new enterprise networking

solution to boost delivery, capacity and reliability of its converged

data, voice and video IP network.

The 3Com infrastructure will increase WMP’s network capacity to cope

with the vast amounts of data generated daily, such as live video

streaming for officer briefings, and allow data to be easily shared and

accessed without affecting critical communications.
