For the police, searching a scene of crime can be one of the most important aspects of any investigation. Having the correct tools to complete the search is essential.

Allen-Vanguard has enhanced its existing Search Tool Kit (STK) with new equipment designed to offer search teams in a variety of situations professional tools to carry out their duties. The new tool kits now contain heavy-duty cutters, saws and hand tools. The new tools have been specifically designed for the dismantling of vehicles.

When immediate visual inspection behind walls and panelling is required the power hammer drill enables inspection holes to be bored through all types of material and walls up to 250mm (10in) thick, allowing rapid internal inspection with an Endoscope. The complete Kit is supplied in two fitted carrying cases with a total weight of 40kg (88lbs).

Glyn Buckler, sales director at Allen-Vanguard, explained: “Today’s security professionals face unprecedented challenges, ranging from the increased threat of terrorism to trafficking of drugs and humans. There is a real demand for sophisticated and durable equipment that enables teams to carry out their tasks safely and efficiently.”
