‘Hide-and-seek’ suspect found under bed

Officers of Devon and Cornwall Police have found a wanted fugitive in his boxer shorts hiding in a drawer under the bed.

The man was wanted in connection with an alleged assault, but when police tracked him down he refused to come out and had to be prodded by an officer who told him ‘I can see you’.

The man was arrested and questioned, but no further action was taken.
