A second senior officer is being investigated after a reported breast enhancement row got out of hand in a hotel bar.

Assistant Chief Constable Rebekah Sutcliffe was suspended in May, pending an inquiry, after she allegedly `flashed` Superintendent Sarah Jackson.

Ms Sutcliffe allegedly argued that the breast enhancement surgery undergone by Supt Jackson was “pandering” to men.

Now three months on Supt Jackson has also been told she is being investigated, although she is not suspended from force duties.

The reported argument between the Greater Manchester Police (GMP) officers is said to have come at the Senior Women in Policing conference to promote the “profile and perception” of female officers in May.

GMP has called in Durham Constabulary to investigate what happened at a Hilton hotel bar in the city.

A GMP spokesperson said: “At the request of Greater Manchester Police, Durham Constabulary will be investigating a senior GMP officer following allegations of inappropriate behaviour.

“We will not be providing any details about the nature of the incident or the personal life of the officer.”

The two female officers are reportedly to have been among the last few guests at the hotel bar one night at the conference when the disagreement took place.
