The Ministry of Defence has a vacancy for GDP Police Constables

Essential Qualifications / Experience include:

• 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) including English Language and Mathematics (applicants who do not have the required qualifications will be required to sit an entry exam)


• Valid Category B licence


• For UK Applicants only – you will need to provide a Driving Record Summary from DVLA.


• Applicants who have resided anywhere else other than Gibraltar must also submit a Basic Disclosure Vetting Certificate (DBS) from the pertinent authorities in the country of residence.


• Physically fit and capable of passing an annual fitness test throughout the duration of career within the GDP.

Salary:

• £29,606.00 starting salary and rising to a current maximum of £47,743.00 p.a.


• Non-contributory pension

Important Dates:

• Entrance exam is available for those that do not hold the required qualifications of 5 GCSE or equivalent – date of entrance exam Monday 16th March 2026.


• Selection weekend will take place on 21st and 22nd March 2026.
