Airwave, the communication system used by Warwickshire Police, has undergone a major survey this month to make sure that every community in the county is getting the best protection.
Superintendent Andy Johnson, who heads the force communications centre, said: The Airwave communication system is a pivotol tool in achieving our organisation`s aim of protecting our communities from harm. It is the first avenue of contact with all of our frontline staff whenever a call for assistance is received from a member of the public. It is essential that this major survey is conducted in order to confirm the full coverage of the system to every area within Warwickshire.
