New portable public address systems

RW Salt has released details of its new Anchor portable public address systems aimed at all emergency response applications.

The range consists of three key systems including the Beacon, MiniVox and MegaVox that have significant advantages over traditional loudspeakers and megaphones. The new devices are smaller and offer superior sound quality, making announcements and commands easier to understand. Each of the new devices includes a rechargeable battery giving up to 35 hours of usage.

The new Anchor range is also designed to complement the work that is being carried out as part of Project ARGUS, a National Counter Terrorism Security Office initiative that is looking at how to prevent, handle and recover from a terrorist incident. Communications devices like the Anchor range are seem as essential components in the anti-terrorist initiatives that are now in place.
