Dedication to product training has earned visual analysis software company, i2, industry accreditations. For the past 13 years i2 has delivered product training to thousands of analysts across the world, recognised in the achievement of Accredited Training Provider status from the Institute of IT Training (IITT).

The accreditation acknowledges the training facility provided by i2 offers a value-for-money range of quality training products and services to its customers, while recognising the company as a forward-thinking organisation, that is seeking to deliver quality solutions to its clients, with potential for delivering real competitive advantage.

Since the training facility was established in 1993, i2’s dedicated team of trainers have delivered training to around 7000 analysts, investigators and intelligence personnel from the police, military and commercial organisations worldwide. Three thousand of these have been from police forces all over the UK.

The team of five trainers have around 35 years of experience of i2 product training between them, two of who whom are ex-police analysts, with more than 17 years first-hand experience of using i2 software ‘on the job’.

All i2’s trainers are Trainer Assessment Programme (TAP®) certified and, as part of their continued professional development, several are in the final stages of qualifying for their TAP® Diploma in Learning Facilitation Skills. All members of the training team are also members of the Institute of IT Training (IITT).

Jo O’Connell, manager of the training department, said: “We have gained a wealth of experience and knowledge about the challenges faced by our users, discovering what they want to achieve through using our software, developing the way we deliver our training to best meet those needs.”
