The UKs finest scene of crimes training facility, Locard House, will be opened for business by Paul Kernaghan, Hampshires chief constable on Monday 25 September at the Defence Police College, Southwick Park.
The quality of training opportunities provided by Locard House are such that Hampshire Constabulary has asked to use the MOD facility for their own training and it is expected other police forces from across the South of England will soon be able to capitalise on its capabilities.
The training facility is named after the first ever forensic technician and pathologist, Dr Locard.
Once open, the site will primarily be used by the Naval Provost, Royal Military and Royal Air Force Police.
