Computer forensic and IT crime unit expands

Mike Andrews, former head of North Yorkshire County Council’s Digital Evidence and Internet Crime unit (‘DERIC’), and his team of six people, have joined Protiviti’s, a fast growing computer forensics and IT crime company.

Mike Andrews, former head of North Yorkshire County Council’s Digital Evidence and Internet Crime unit (‘DERIC’), and his team of six people, have joined Protiviti’s, a fast growing computer forensics and IT crime company.

Pat Beardmore heads the team providing computer forensic services to law enforcement agencies, local government and regulators throughout the UK as well as to companies and legal teams in the private sector.

Commenting on the enlarged team, Pat Beardmore said: “Our forensic and IT crime division is growing at a rapid rate and the addition of Mike Andrews and his team strengthens our capabilities with team members based in the North (Yorkshire) and South (London) of England.
