An opportunity has arisen to recruit into Chief Superintendent roles within Greater Manchester Police. The Chief Constable is seeking high performing, resilient Chief Superintendents, or suitably experienced Superintendents seeking promotion.

• Be innovative and creative in their approach with experience of delivering successful large-scale change


• Be truly committed and passionate about the service provided to the public of Greater Manchester

Requirements

Applicants must:

• Have achieved the rank of Chief Superintendent or be a substantive Superintendent and have held that rank for at least two years (this can include periods as a Temporary Superintendent)


• Have the support of your line manager, if applying on promotion.


• Not have any live written warnings, final written warnings or extended final written warnings under the Police (Conduct) Regs. 2020


• Pass the required vetting and medical checks prior to appointment.

Officers who were unsuccessful in the 2024 processes are welcome to apply.
