Starting salary: National Chief Superintendent pay scale* plus £2,750 South East allowance (or other housing rent allowance, all subject to change).

The Opportunities

We are recruiting for suitably qualified Superintendents/Detective Superintendents who are eligible for promotion and Chief Superintendents/Detective Chief Superintendents to join us as a level transfer.

• Tuesday 10th June 2025, 0900-1000 - “Promotion Process Briefing” – Hear from our assessment panels to find out what we are looking for and an outline as to the assessment process.  This event will be hosted via MS Teams.


• Wednesday 11th June 2025, 1400-1500 – “Positive Action Event” - Hear from an Operational Chief Supt and our Positive Action Supt as to the support available through the process.

The assessment centres are currently scheduled between the 30th June and 11th July 2025.

The closing date for applications to be returned is midday Wednesday 18th June 2025.
