PC Daniel Naggea, of the Metropolitan Police Service North Area Basic Command Unit, was found to have created several “offensive and disrespectful” posts on TikTok following a professional standards investigation.

Detective Chief Superintendent Caroline Haines, who is in charge of policing in North Area (Enfield and Haringey), said: “PC Naggea’s posts on social media were both offensive and disrespectful.

“This behaviour is unacceptable. PC Naggea has fallen well below the standards we expect from our officers and it is only right that he has been dismissed from the Met.”

A misconduct hearing, which concluded on Tuesday (July 16), found that PC Naggea breached standards of professional behaviour relating to discreditable conduct at the level of gross misconduct.

PC Naggea will now be added to the Barred List held by the College of Policing.
